Carrie Underwood Hits 7 Million In Sales

This is Carrie’s week! Her album “Some Hearts” has hit the seven million mark in sales, making her the best selling solo female country debut in history. She also has the best selling CD of any American Idol contestant!
“Some Hearts,” released in November 2005, held the top spot on Billboard’s Top Country Albums for 27 weeks in 2005, 2006, and 2007 making Carrie the first female artist in Billboard history to earn back-to-back honors for Top Country Album.
