Carrie Underwood’s All-Star Holiday Special
Carrie Underwood is welcoming friends and fans alike tonight as she hosts her All-Star Holiday Special on Fox.
The two-hour variety show begins at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT and will include guests like Brad Paisley, Dolly Parton, David Cook, and Kristin Chenoweth.
Carrie will be performing music from an upcoming album, as well as previous hits and classic holiday songs. About the special, Carrie says:

Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood on GMA

Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood will be performing together on Good Morning America on Tuesday, November 10 live from Nashville on ABC.
The two, who will once again host this year’s CMA Awards, will perform live from Sommet Center’s outside plaza at the corner of Broadway and Fifth Avenue in Nashville, and is presented by Chevrolet.
The concert is free and open to the public and is in conjunction with the 43rd Annual CMA Awards, airing Wednesday, November 11 from 8-11 p.m.

Brad Paisley Extends Concert Schedule

Brad Paisley has announced he’s extending the dates for his American Saturday Night concert tour.
Brad is adding 19 more dates to the tour, extending it into 2010. Originally, it was meant to end at the end of October, but now it’ll pick up again on January 7th in San Antonio, Texas and end March 6th. I’ll get the remaining venues posted as they become available!
Brad will be joined by Miranda Lambert and Justin Moore.

Heads-up, Brad Paisley fans! Time to set your DVRs: Brad will be making the TV rounds this upcoming week to promote his new album, American Saturday Night.
Brad is currently on tour for American Saturday Night and during his dates in southern California this week he’s stopping in at a few talk and late night shows:

Brad Paisley and his wife, actress Kimberly Williams-Paisley, are on the cover of the current People magazine, now on newsstands. The couple pose with their two sons, William Huckleberry, age 2, and infant Jasper Warren, born this past April.
When asked about naming their sons, Brad says that he wanted something “literary” for William’s name. His first name, of course, comes from mom’s maiden name, and Brad says he “threw out” Huckleberry thinking that Kim would hate it, but she ended up liking it and it stuck. The toddler goes by “Huck.”

Brad Paisley and Keith Urban were accidentally left off the CMA Award Nomination ballot for Musical Event of the Year for their hit, Start A Band.
The omission is said to have occurred when nomination information was being transferred from the online ballot to the list of final nominees.

Set your DVRs! The Country Music Association has said they’ll be announcing the nomations for the 43rd Annual CMA Awards on September 9th during Good Morning American on CBS.
Lee Ann Womack and Darius Rucker will be hosting this year’s nominations, which will be announced at 8:30 am EDT on the morning program.
About being asked to host the nominations Darius said: “I was so honored to perform at the 2008 CMA Awards Show, and I feel privileged to be a part of this year’s nominee announcement.”

Paisley, Krauss and Pride Performing at the White House

Brad Paisley, Alison Krauss, and Charley Pride will be performing at the White House tomorrow evening!
The President and First Lady Obama have been hosting events at the White House celebrating the arts, innovation and creativity, and the country artists will be participating in the evening performance after taking part in an afternoon educational workshop for more than 120 music students from across the country.

2009 CMT Awards Tonight!
The 2009 CMT Awards are just a few hours away, and this year’s nominees and performers are getting ready!
Bill Engvall, who is hosting tonight’s awards show, has admitted to being nervous about his job tonight:
“I haven’t been really nervous about a gig in a long time,” Engvall said in a recent interview. “You don’t want to be the guy who made people say, ‘Oh, remember the year when Engvall did it? Ugh.’”
The CMT awards will air live at 8 p.m. EDT tonight on CMT from the Sommet Center in Nashville, Tenn.
