Rascal Flatts 2010 Tour Dates

2010 is shaping up to be a great year for country concert tours! We’ve got Reba and George, Carrie Underwood, Garth Brooks in Las Vegas. Now we can add Rascal Flatts to the list!

The Unstoppable tour kicks off mid-January in Connecticut and — so far — goes through to mid-March.

Rascal Flatts Give Free Song to Their Fans

Rascal Flatts are giving away a free Christmas song to their fans! After filling out a little bit of info, you can download “Away In A Manger” from their website at rascalflatts.com.

The song, which was just recorded by the group last week specifically for the Christmas giveaway, was just released to radio as well.
About the song, keyboardist and bass guitarist Jay DeMarcus says: “This song is a celebration to our fans. From the bottom of our hearts, we are so proud and grateful for all the work you put into promoting Rascal Flatts each and every day.”

Rascal Flatts Releases Holiday EP

Rascal Flatts have released a small holiday gift for their fans: Unwrapped is a digital-exclusive EP featuring holiday classics White Christmas, God Rest Ye Merry Gentelmen, Jingle Bell Rock and an a capella rendition of I’ll Be Home For Christmas.

They’ve also included a music video for I’ll Be Home For Christmas, which was filmed during an overnight shoot from New York City’s historic Roosevelt Hotel.
The EP can be purchased and downloaded from Amazon.com for $3.96 for all four songs, and they can also be downloaded individually.

Rascal Flatts to Release Limited Edition Greatest Hits

Rascal Flatts have announced plans to release a limited edition Greatest Hits package of their Greatest Hits Volume 1 album.

The set is slated to be released October 5th, and will contain two CDs with 13 hit songs, including four new bonus tracks: live concert recordings of Take Me There, Winner At A Losing Game, Me And My Gang and Summer Nights.
The release will be packaged up in a foil-embossed keepsake box.
The tracklist includes:

Rascal Flatts Today Show Performance

Rascal Flatts appeared on the Today Show this morning to perform for the show’s concert series.
They performed their mega hit, “Here Comes Goodbye,” in front of the live audience at Rockefeller plaza.
They also performed one of my current favorites, Summer Nights, after an intro and quick interview by Today Show host Matt Lauer, who mentions the group have been recognized by the Academy of Country Music as Group of the Year for seven consecutive years!

Rascal Flatts on ‘Today’

Rascal Flatts will be making a television appearance this Friday!

The country trio will be making their way to New York this Friday, July 10, for an appearance on the Today Show on NBC. The show is part of their summer concert tour and they plan to perform a new single from “Unstoppable” as well as a few other biggest hits.
The appearance also coincides with lead singer Gary LeVox’s birthday!
They’ll then head back out on their “Rascal Flatts American Living Unstoppable Tour.” Don’t forget to enter for a chance to win a signed CD!

2009 CMT Awards Tonight!

The 2009 CMT Awards are just a few hours away, and this year’s nominees and performers are getting ready!

Bill Engvall, who is hosting tonight’s awards show, has admitted to being nervous about his job tonight:
“I haven’t been really nervous about a gig in a long time,” Engvall said in a recent interview. “You don’t want to be the guy who made people say, ‘Oh, remember the year when Engvall did it? Ugh.’”
The CMT awards will air live at 8 p.m. EDT tonight on CMT from the Sommet Center in Nashville, Tenn.

Rascal Flatts’ ‘Summer Nights’

Rascal Flatts’ Summer Nights is the first country song I’ve heard in a while that really makes me think of summer (not counting Kenny Chesney’s slew of beachy songs!).
Summer Nights is the second single released from their Unstoppable album and was released to radio in May. It debuted at #57 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs before falling off completely before its official release in May. It then hit #53 on the charts and finally entered the Top 40 at #30 two weeks later.
