Dolly Parton Postpones U.S. Tour

Dolly Parton has decided to postpone the U.S. leg of her upcoming tour which was to begin February 28th in Minneapolis. Dolly has been ordered by her doctor to rest up for at least six weeks due to back problems caused by her, uh, infamous endowments:
“I know I have been breaking my neck and bending over backwards trying to get my new ‘Backwoods Barbie’ CD and world tour together, but I didn’t mean to hurt myself doing it!,” Parton says in a statement. “But hey, you try wagging these puppies around a while and see if you don’t have back problems. Seriously though, the doctors said I will be good as new in a few weeks, and I can’t wait to get back out there.”
Dolly’s new album, “Backwoods Barbie,” drops February 26 on her own Dolly Records label. Parton’s European tour, due to begin June 13 in Stockholm and run through July 5-6 at London’s O2 Arena, is still on the books, according to Parton’s publicist.
