This Flashback is only eight years old but it’s an enduring favorite!
“I Hope You Dance” was a single off the album of the same name by Lee Ann Womack, who is singing the song to her daughters in the video.
It shot to the #1 spot on the US Country Chart where it spent five weeks, and was a crossover hit as well, reaching #14 on the US Hot 100. It also won the 2001 Grammy, CMA, ACM, NSAI, ASCAP and BMI song of the year awards.
