Miley Cyrus Talks About Dad Billy Ray Cyrus

Teen star Miley Cyrus will be appearing on ABC’s Oscar edition of “The Barbara Walters Special” on Sunday, Feb. 24 at 7 p.m. eastern. On the show she’ll be talking about life before Hannah Montana and performing with country superstar dad Billy Ray Cyrus.

“Life is a little different than the show because I don’t have the alter ego that I can escape to anymore,” she said. “I think the basis of the show is pretty much life. When I’m at home, it’s my friends, it’s my family.”

Clips from a previous appearance performing on the 22nd Annual Colgate Country Showdown National Final from a few years ago with Billy Ray will also air during the program.
