Music Video: Rascal Flatts’ ‘I’ll Be Home For Christmas’
“I’ll Be Home For Christmas” is one of my favorite Christmas songs and I love Rascal Flatts’ beautiful, a capella version of it.
The video was shot in November at New York City’s Roosevelt Hotel and features Gary Levox, Jay DeMarco and Joe Don Rooney performing in the lobby while waiting on a bus to return them to their families for the holidays. Even though they shot from 11:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. the next morning the lobby still had to be shut down during production when fans learned that they were there!
It’s part of their limited edition CD, Rascal Flatts Greatest Hits Volume 1, which contains two other holiday songs: White Christmas and Jingle Bell Rock.
That was seriously beautiful. I *love* Gary’s voice, it’s so instantly recognizable.
