Tim McGraw was scheduled to perform at the 44th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards last night in Las Vegas, and a lot of fans were disappointed when he never took to the stage.

Apparently, during rehearsals over the weekend, Tim and the producers had a “major disagreement” on the production of the performance, and Tim refused to go on.

He will be performing at the George Strait tribute concert tonight on CBS, however.

Looking much more grown up than her 19 years, Taylor Swift arrived on the orange carpet at the ACM Awards tonight in Las Vegas in a beautiful red gown and matching lipstick.

Though she lost her nomination for Top Female Vocalist to Carrie Underwood, Taylor seemed to have a great time throughout the night, and got things kicked off with a greeting from girlfriend Kellie Pickler before heading inside. More pics under the cut! Read more

More country stars and actors have been added to the lineup of presenters for this Sunday’s Academy of Country Music Awards show!

Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley, Billy Ray Cyrus, Jack Ingram, Martina McBride, Kellie Pickler, Rascal Flatts, Darius Rucker, and Blake Shelton will be joined by actors Jamie Foxx, Jennifer Love Hewitt, and Matthew McConaughey.

The 44th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards will be broadcast on CBS live from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas this Sunday, April 5th from 8-11pm EDT.

Performers for the 44th Annual ACM Awards next month have finally been announced!

This year’s lineup includes Lady Antebellum, Miley Cyrus, Jamey Johnson, host Reba McEntire, John Rich and Lee Ann Womack. They’ll be joining Toby Keith, Miranda Lambert, Tim McGraw, Heidi Newfield, Rascal Flatts, Sugarland and Taylor Swift.

The awards will be broadcast live from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Sunday, April 5 at 8:00-11:00 PM ET on CBS.

The Envelope recently had an interesting article about Kenny Chesney and his current nomination as Entertainer of the Year for this year’s ACM Awards.

The article states that since Kenny railed so hard against Internet voting last year, which no doubt helped him earn his fourth Entertainer of the Year award, that this year he should bow out since the Academy is not only allowing fans to vote via the Internet again, but they’re accepting texting votes from cell phones as well. If you were watching the ACM Awards Sunday night you probably caught Kenny Chesney’s new commercial for Corona beer! Corona is one of the sponsors for Kenny’s current “Poets and Pirates” concert tour.

The commercial was filmed in Cancun, Mexico, and the behind-the-scenes video above includes a great interview with Kenny talking about working with Corona and his Poets and Pirates show.
