Brad Paisley’s ‘Welcome to the Future’

June 29, 2009 by Heather

Brad Paisley is set to release his second single from his current album, American Saturday Night. “Welcome to the Future,” in typical Brad fashion, is creative, upbeat and a lot of fun to listen to!

In the single, the narrator talks about the things he wished he could do when he was a kid, and how much things have changed now that he can do not only a lot of the things he wanted, but how the world in general has changed too.

American Saturday Night hits store shelves tomorrow, and already has a #1 hit with “Then,” which was released in March.

Brad Paisley Welcomes Another Son

April 17, 2009 by Heather

Brad Paisley and wife Kimberly Williams-Paisley have welcome another son!

“The healthy baby boy was born this morning at a Nashville-area hospital,” their reps told US Magazine. “Mother and baby are resting comfortably.”

The baby boy doesn’t have a name yet and is the second son for the couple, who also have 2-year-old son William Huckleberry.

Congrats to the Paisleys!

[edited April 20 to add] The Paisleys have named their son Jasper Warren.

Brad Paisley’s “Then”

April 17, 2009 by Heather

I don’t think Brad Paisley has released a single song I haven’t liked, and his newest hit “Then” is definitely on that list!

Then” was released just a few weeks ago and is the first song off Brad’s upcoming album American Saturday Night, which will be released on June 30, 2009.

In the song, the narrator expresses his love for his girl, saying how much stronger his love has become since their first meeting, when he “thought I loved you then.”

And now you’re my whole life
now you’re my whole world
I just can’t believe the way I feel about you, girl
Like a river meets the sea,
stronger than it’s ever been.
We’ve come so far since that day
And I thought I loved you then

What do you think? Do you like the single?
