Taylor Swift and CMT Awards host Bill Engvall put together a pretty funny opening segment for the awards show last night. Bill comments that all of Taylor’s dreams seem to be coming true, and Taylor mentions a few more she’s been thinking about:

I especially liked Bill’s observation about Taylor’s love life during the Star Trek clip. That’s occurred to me a time or two! It also includes the video of her rap performance with T-Pain and Kellie Pickler even makes an appearance.

Kellie Pickler has launched a fan club! The $19.99/year subscription fee includes access to videos, pictures, message boards, contests and first chance tickets to concerts and appearances.

Of the fan club, Kellie says:

“I’m so glad there’s a place where the fans have special access to all these extras, and there’s a lot more to come too. We took our time developing this site, so that it’s a cool experience from the get go. I’ve already had the opportunity to meet some of the first members at our recent shows, and we’ve got a whole tour coming up to meet with fans all year long.”

Taylor Swift has announced her plans for her headlining concert tour for 2009! It’s called the Taylor Swift Fearless Tour 2009 and will begin in late April. Tickets are expected to be a pretty affordable $20 or so each.

Taylor’s good friend and fellow country artist Kellie Pickler and newcomer band Gloriana (comprised of Tom Gossin, Mike Gossin, Rachel Reinert and Cheyenne Kimball) will be opening her shows for her.

Billy Ray Cyrus and teen queen daughter Miley have just announced they will be presenters at the 42nd Annual CMA Awards next week. The pair presented in 2006 as well.

Additional presenters announced will include Heidi Newfield, Darius Rucker, Josh Turner, Lee Ann Womack and Taylor Swift, who will also perform.

Recently announced performers include Jason Aldean and James Otto (each nominated for CMA New Artist of the Year), Martina McBride (nominated for CMA Female Vocalist of the Year), as well as hosts Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood, Trace Adkins, Rodney Atkins, Brooks & Dunn, Kenny Chesney and The Wailers, the Eagles, Alan Jackson, Kid Rock, Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, Kellie Pickler, George Strait, Sugarland, and Keith Urban.

The 42nd Annual CMA Awards airs live from the Sommet Center in Nashville, Wednesday, November 12 on ABC.

Kellie Pickler was on The Bonnie Hunt Show yesterday talking about pets (including her pet python!).

She also performed her current hit, “Don’t You Know You’re Beautiful:”

Kellie Pickler’s self-titled second album dropped this week and she talked to Hollywood 411 about it.

The album debuted at #1, just as her first one did, on Billboard’s Country Album Chart.

Kellie Pickler debuted “Don’t You Know You’re Beautiful” at the ACMs earlier this year. It’s the first single off her self-titled album due out at the end of September.

The music video was released last month and can be found on Youtube.

Kellie Pickler has announced her next album will be released this September!

The self-titled sophomore album will hit stores September 30th and includes the single “Don’t You Know You’re Beautiful.”

Other songs on the album include “Best Days Of Your Life,” which was co-written by Kellie with Taylor Swift who sings background vocals!

Kellie says: “I’m so excited and proud of the new album. I’ve learned so much since the first album, like the fact that Budapest is the capital of Hungary,” she laughed. “The material on the new album is part small town girl, but also a reflection of the experiences I’ve had over the last two years. I’ve matured, some, seen a lot more of the world, and naming the album Kellie Pickler says, ‘this album is me, this is who I am and where I am.’”
