Lorrie Morgan Heads to Broadway

Lorrie Morgan is heading to Broadway this fall to begin working on a stage adaptation of the popular country movie “Pure Country,” which originally starred George Strait and Lesley Anne Warren.

The production will co-star country singer Joe Nichols as the character Rusty (”Dusty” in the movie, played by George Strait), and Lorrie will be Lula, his manager, originally played by Warren.
