Taylor Swift Releases “Fearless Platinum Edition”

Taylor Swift is releasing a new version “Fearless” today. The CD/DVD, “Fearless Platinum Edition,” holds 19 songs, including six new ones: Jump Then Fall, Untouchable, Forever & Always (Piano Version), Come In With The Rain, SuperStar and The Other Side Of The Door.
The second disc contains five music videos (Change, The Best Day, Love Story, White Horse, You Belong With Me) as well as three behind the scenes clips of work on the set of the music videos.

Carrie Underwood to Release a New Album in November
Carrie Underwood fans, rejoice! Carrie has announced she’ll be releasing a new album on November 3.
The American Idol winner hasn’t had a new album out since 2007’s Carnival Ride, and though her third and upcoming album doesn’t have a name yet, she’s currently working on it and plans for the first single to be hitting the airwaves late this summer.
Carrie’s first two albums, Some Hearts and Carnival Ride, have sold over 10 million units and netted her the distinction of being the first country artist hit to 10 #1 hits off her first two albums.

Martina McBride Getting Ready for “Shine”

Martina McBride is gearing up for her newest album release, Shine, to hit stores tomorrow!
She’s currently in New York for a taping of the NBC’s Today with an appearance and performance that will air tomorrow morning, March 24th. Another appearance is currently slotted for Wednesday at 10:00am on Today as well.

Patty Loveless Announces Tour Dates!

Not only did Patty Loveless recently announce that she’s working on a new album, but she’s also planning on touring again!
Her first tour in three years will be in support of that upcoming album, “Sleepless Nights,” and kicks off September 26th at the State Theatre in State College, PA.

Gretchen Wilson Releases New Single

Gretchen Wilson released her newest single “Don’t Do Me No Good” yesterday. The song is from her upcoming album “I Got Your Country Right Here,” which is due to be released in October. Have you heard it? What did you think?
Gretchen is still putting the finishing touches on the album and touring this summer. She also just completed her GED, and says “What a great way to kick off the summer with the new tune. After being on the road and taking the time to graduate, I’m ready to rock again on country radio.”

George Jones to Release Unreleased Duets Album

A new George Jones album, titled “George Jones: Burn Your Playhouse Down,” will be dropping August 19! It contains duets between George and other music legends like ex-wife Tammy Wynette, Dolly Parton, Vince Gill and Keith Richards, and even one with him and his daughter, Georgette.
The song recordings actually span from the 70’s to as recent as 2007 – the one between him and Tammy, called “Lovin’ You, Lovin’ Me,” is from from 1977. This is going to be an amazing album!

Tim McGraw Announces Next Album Release

Tim McGraw has announced he’ll be releasing his next album this fall! At least, that’s what he told concert-goers this past Saturday at the Mandalay Bay here in Las Vegas. There has been no official word from anyone else but I guess he would know, right?
He played three new songs, possibly from the album, during the concert: “Still,” “Southern Voices (or Boys)” and “You Had To Be There.” The last is about a father who goes to visit his song after not being in his life.

George Strait to Release 22 “Not Quite” Hits

Well, not really – they were hits, they just didn’t make it all the way to #1. George Strait will be releasing a CD of 22 songs (22 More Hits) on November 13th.
