Invitation Only is a spin on the typical music concert, featuring country music’s biggest stars performing before a small studio audience in Nashville. Darius will be taking questions from fans and delivering revealing and candid answers.

Invitation Only: Darius Rucker premieres Friday, July 3 at 11:00 p.m. ET on CMT.

Don’t forget to set your DVRs — a whole slew of country stars are making an appearance on Oprah today! Carrie Underwood, Kenny Chesney, Sugarland and Darius Rucker will all by stopping by to talk to Oprah.

Carrie Underwood talks about how she keeps healthy both at home and on the road, song writing, and what country stars have influenced her.

Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush of Sugarland talk about their favorite tour stops, Jennifer’s tattoo, and what President Obama said to Jennifer at the Inauguration concert.

Kenny Chesney performs two songs for the audience: “Down the Road” and “No Shirt, No Shoes, No Service.” He also talks about his concerts, playing sports, and the advice he got from Bruce Springsteen.

Darius Rucker performs his current hit single, “It Won’t Be Like This for Long,” and talks about his inspiration for the song. He also talks about being one of only three African-Americans to top the country charts, and also shares what’s on his iPod.

Country Stars on Oprah Next Week

A whole bunch of country stars will be on Oprah next week!

Kenny Chesney, Carrie Underwood, Sugarland and Darius Rucker will all be making an appearance on the April 14th episode of The Oprah Show. The hour-long episode will have performances and interviews with the artists and will feature nothing but country music.

Presenters Added to ACM Awards

More country stars and actors have been added to the lineup of presenters for this Sunday’s Academy of Country Music Awards show!

Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley, Billy Ray Cyrus, Jack Ingram, Martina McBride, Kellie Pickler, Rascal Flatts, Darius Rucker, and Blake Shelton will be joined by actors Jamie Foxx, Jennifer Love Hewitt, and Matthew McConaughey.

A full list of performers was announced just last week, and the award nominees can be found here.

The 44th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards will be broadcast on CBS live from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas this Sunday, April 5th from 8-11pm EDT.

Martina McBride Getting Ready for “Shine”

Martina McBride is gearing up for her newest album release, Shine, to hit stores tomorrow!

She’s currently in New York for a taping of the NBC’s Today with an appearance and performance that will air tomorrow morning, March 24th. Another appearance is currently slotted for Wednesday at 10:00am on Today as well.

She’ll also be on Live with Regis and Kelly on March 25th, and will be taping with Rachael Ray for an episode that airs the week of April 6. She’s also got an upcoming Private Sessions episode on A&E that will air April 5, a stop at E! Entertainment’s Chelsea Lately in early April and has an interview and performance on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, airing Thursday, April 2. Phew!

Carrie Underwood Heads Back to American Idol with Randy Travis

Carrie Underwood will be heading back to where it all began for her — center stage on American Idol!

This Wednesday, March 18th, Carrie will be onstage for an episode of the FOX reality competition to perform her current single, I Told You So with Randy Travis, who originally released the song in 1988.

Carrie’s appearance this week concludes two nights of performances centered around the theme of the Grand Ole Opry.

The episode, titled Turn, Turn, Turn, has Swift playing a girl named Haley Jones, a Las Vegas teenager whose parents own a seedy motel. She undergoes several different hairstyles during the episode to show her character’s progression over the course of a year.

‘Gone Country’ Season 3 Premieres

CMT will be premiering season 3 of ‘Gone Country‘ this Saturday, January 24th at 8/7c.

The popular reality show features the talents of seven celebrity contestants as they live together in Nashville and compete to “go country” in the hopes of winning of a debut country album.

This year’s contestants include: George Clinton (musician); Tara Conner (television personality, Miss USA 2006); Taylor Dayne (pop vocalist/actress); Micky Dolenz (actor; musician; drummer/lead vocalist of the “Monkees”); Sheila E. (entertainer/musician); Richard Grieco (actor/musician); and Justin Guarini (singer-songwriter; actor/television host; “American Idol” runner up).

John Rich of Big & Rich hosts and ultimately helps the winner record and release their album.
