Taylor Swift Sweeps the AMA’s

Taylor Swift has had an amazing month — not only did she win every category she was nominated in, including Artist of the Year, at the CMA Awards a couple of weeks ago, she also wiped up the floor at last night’s awards.

Taylor was in the UK so she wasn’t able to attend the awards in person, but she was quoted as saying that going up against Michael Jackson for Artist of the Year (which she also won), was an “unimaginable honor,” and also praised Janet Jacket, Michael’s sister, and other members of his family who reached out to her.

Taylor also took home the pop rock award (over Beyonce and Lady Gaga) and country award, adult contemporary award (over Daughtry and Jason Mraz), and “Fearless” won favorite country album (over Rascal Flatts’ “Unstoppable” and Zac Brown Band’s “The Foundation”).

Taylor also thanked her fans, saying “You have given me so much to be thankful for this Thanksgiving.”
