Tim McGraw Talks About “The Blind Side”

November 30, 2009 by Heather

The Blind Side,” starring Tim McGraw and Sandra Bullock, had a very successful second weekend, and managed to make more than its opening last weekend. Considering it went up against a bunch of second and third viewings for the Twilight sequel, New Moon, that’s saying a lot!

In the movie, based on a true story, Tim stars as Sean Tuohy, husband to Sandra Bullock’s Leigh Anne Tuohy, a wealthy couple who take an abandoned teen in their home and encourage him to raise his grades to earn a scholarship to the University of Mississippi.

Tim recently talked about the movie and his part in it, including why he changed his mind about playing another football-parent like he did previously in Friday Night Lights.

Tim has also gotten some pretty good praise on his acting, such as this from The LA Times who said that McGraw displayed “an easygoing charm,” while Variety wrote that McGraw “again evidences quietly impressive thespian ability.”
